We were fortunate enough to meet the late Richard Biggs (Dr. Stephen Franklin of Babylon 5) at the Ra-Con 2K2 convention in wichita Ks. Unlike most convention guests, Richard didn't just stay his 2 hours and split, he stayed and chatted with guests and exhibitors for the duration of the show. His everyday manner and friendliness towards his fans is a virtue sorely lacking in our television heroes. How many major actors slip outside to smoke a cigarette with their fans? Or give thanks with a smile and a handshake? Richard Biggs was a credit to Hollywood, and we were glad to have had the privilige of meeting him.
